Food Is Love
Anyone who knows me knows that I love good food, and that I love making good food. That is why I enrolled and graduated from the prestigious Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Le Cordon Bleu Program. Much of what was taught involved classic French cooking techniques, but I applied what I learned to the foods my family and I love, which are definitely not French.
I’m talkin’ Fire, the Grill, and the Smoker – I’m talkin’ BBQ, Baby!
After years of hearing friends and coworkers rave about my sauce, I was finally convinced to enter an official, KCBS-sanctioned event.
Present and competing were some big names (our lips are sealed) in BBQ. Guess who won 1st place in the BBQ Sauce competition!
You may see an image of a wooden pig on our packaging or elsewhere on the site – it is a chainsaw-carved trophy we got that day for winning!
I’ve spent years trying new flavor combinations and marrying different cultures to achieve unique flavor profiles. As you who know me would expect, my brand would only appear on the very best.
Sauce: 1st Place winner at KCBS event. ‘Nuff said.
